HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAITLIN!!!

Caitlin is 17!!! She decided to have a tea party for her special day! It was alot of fun! I wish I had taken a picture of all the yummy food!

Caiti had her friends over for soup, scones, pastries and treats. It was delicious!

We of course had to have everyone pose for pics! It was so cool to have it at Mamaw Nancy's house with her old china. Too fun!

Festival of Lights Parade...

We went downtown tonight to see Caitlin march in the Festival of Lights parade with the Sound of North Marching Band! WOW IT WAS SOOOOOOO COLD!!!!!

Disney for Halloween!! YAY!!!

We decided to take a second trip to Disney this year! I am so excited!! We absolutely love going to Disney- and Fall is our family's favorite season, so it just made sense! lol We traveled with our close friends, The Umphrey Fam. We just love spending time with them!! While we were at the parks, we celebrated a few birthdays.... Gavin, Sonja, Thane & Allison Umphrey all have birthdays in October! =] It was a party everywhere we went! hahaha!!
These glo sticks crack me up... we used them at night to keep track of everyone. But, the kids loved rocking them out in various ways! haha
We have so much fun hanging with the Umphreys!! Check us out in our Mickey gear!!

Animal Kingdom was a hoot. We ate at a couple different restaurants and saw a few new shows. It was a good time! My favorite ride is Mount Everest! I love love love it and we got to ride it 3 times! =]

Magic Kingdom was doing alot of construction and Madee is here in front of the upcoming Belle area. I am so excited to see what is coming. There will be a Belle experience and a new Ariel one as well! Can't wait!!

We love the Toy Story 3 midway Mania ride!! Everyone else does too, as it is always over an hour wait to get on it! =]

We loved shopping in Downtown Disney and the boys especially loved the Lego Store... they each had their own money and saved it the whole trip to spend at this store! =]

Epcot was the favorite park this trip..... we had so much fun exploring all of the countries!!

Norway was a fan favorite.... there was a cool ride called the Maelstrom and lots of cool things to see in the shops! Look at my lil vikings here taking on a troll.... hahahaha!

And finally the night we'd been waiting for..... We had tickets to the Disney's not so haunted halloween party! We loved dressing up and taking in the park at night! We collected candy from all the candy stops and took in the special parade!! =] It was such a good time!! =]
Gavin is a Samuri and I am a Geisha- of course....

Madee is Alice in Wonderland, Caiti is Tinkerbell, and Miss Mia is Ariel.....

Thane is a Knight and Seth is a pretty convincing Harry Potter...

These candy stops were all over the park and the kids had quite a hual of candy when the night was done! =] It was an amazing trip and I am so glad we went!!

We have some friends who take Karate and their DoJo was running a contest to get the highest number of guests to a class..... well, needless to say, when the Wilsons show up... there's a party! lol So, our number of 10 people in our fam, helped the Johansens win the contest!! Here we are learning a few moves!!

The girls had a really good time learning forms and even got to break a board with their feet!!

Jason taught the rest of us some self defense moves. These hand holds will help us escape from and defend ourselves from an attacker. It was pretty neat stuff! =] Thanks for the Invite!

Boys at Golf Camp...

The boys tried a new sport this week!! We signed them up for the PAAL Hook a Kid on Golf. Thane is a huge fan of mini-golf and we thought he might like to try this out. =]

Both boys loved it!! I am so happy! I think it was a great deal, as the boys each walked away with their own set of clubs, golf shirts, balls, tees, and lots of other mess...... =] so they're all set! Plus, at the end of the week, they did a team scramble and Seth's team placed 3rd!! He got a trophy and his team's pic was displayed in the Republic newspaper!!! =] He was so excited and we are so proud of them both!!
