Cookie Day 2010

We love making Christmas cookies!! =]

Every year we get the whole family together to make cookies. Every kind you can think of..... but, our sugar cookies are the BEST!! (at least they are my favorite)

Here I am with Mia and Alej cutting out sugar cookies.

Grandma is always on oven duty... she makes sure they turn out just right!!

These are some of the goodies we made at my house the day before.. we got lucky and had a snow day.... it gave us a head start!! =]

however.... I like the self portrait cookie of her in uniformwith a side pony..... too cute!!

Jacob had some good ones too...but chose to pass along a holiday hello with this one....!!

....and last, but not least, you can check out some of the ones I decorated! I love to see all of them together at the end. They look so yummy and remind me of the holidays. Who doesn't love a plate full of pretty cookies!? I mean really??!!?

Christmas with Friends.... :)

We are so happy and blessed to have wonderful friends!! Kerry & Craig and Karen & Billy came over tonight to exchange gifts and spend the evening with us! =]

We ordered in Chinese food for dinner. It was yummy! =] Look at all the food! =]

Mary Kay Holiday Party....

WHITE CHRISTMAS PROGRAM...

Caitlin made her Drama debut in the Holiday performance at North High School. This years show is a White Christmas. It is based on the movie white christmas. I was excited to see her in it.... she has quite a few parts and some singing!! =]

We were all anxiously awaiting the show!! My sister's family, my family, and my mom came for opening night. Jim & Nancy and Aunt Skeet also went with us again on Sunday afternoon. =]

This is the beginning of the show and Caiti's friend Rory is the guy on the right. He did a great job! =]

Caitlin is a waitress in this scene. So funny, she mixed her performance up each time and even snuck a drink or two in the Sunday performance...lol!! Funny!

Look at those legs!! =] Here she is as a dancer in the holiday show.. This was to the song...'Blue Skies'. (they are blurry, but she is front and center in both, black shoes)

Closing scenes, as the love interests come together and all is well.. She is in the yellow dress, on the right... which by the way she made herself! =]

Taking a bow at the curtain call! What a great show! I am so proud of her for trying new things and putting herself out there! This was a great experience and I have a feeling she will be trying out for the Spring show- The Crucible! =]

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SETH!!

So happy to have Seth in our family!! I can't believe he is 10!! wow time flies.....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAITLIN!!!

Caitlin is 17!!! She decided to have a tea party for her special day! It was alot of fun! I wish I had taken a picture of all the yummy food!

Caiti had her friends over for soup, scones, pastries and treats. It was delicious!

We of course had to have everyone pose for pics! It was so cool to have it at Mamaw Nancy's house with her old china. Too fun!

Festival of Lights Parade...

We went downtown tonight to see Caitlin march in the Festival of Lights parade with the Sound of North Marching Band! WOW IT WAS SOOOOOOO COLD!!!!!
