Spring Break at Disney...

We didn't really have any plans for spring break, but as it started to approach, we couldn't miss the opportunity to sneak down to Disney!!  We were able to convince the Umphrey's to come along with us!
We arrived on St. Patty's Day, and it was fun to see everyone decked out in their green!
Look how much fun Uncle Craig is having with his light up bow tie! lol

Caitlin got herself a mickey sugar cookie while we watched the electrical parade!  He was pretty tasty!
I got my nails done for this trip... look how cute they turned out!  Minnie polka dots and bows!! =]

The castle is so pretty at night!  We watched the fireworks from the back of the castle this time and it was so cool!  The fireworks were literally right above our heads!

The new Dumbo ride is beautiful! We had so much fun watching the ride even before we got on it!  Look how big my babies are getting! I love them so much and I am so grateful for all the special times like these! =]

This year, we decided to buy season passes because we will be going 3 times.  So it was pretty cool to go from one park to the other as we pleased. We visited Magic Kingdom every night and made our rounds to the other parks in the mornings.

Seth and Uncle Craig were goofing around in the Buzz lightyear ride!  Sooooo funny!

This was Mia's first time meeting Mickey! (She did met him when she was 3 but has no recollection of it.)  She was so excited!!  Look at this hug.... priceless!

Animal Kingdom was HOT!  I love that park, but there is no air moving in all those trees! hahaha  My favorite ride is here , Mt. Everest, we rode it twice.... and I loved it!  My favorite is at night, but I'll take it whenever I can get it! =]

Epcot had the Flower and Garden Show going on, so we got to see a butterfly garden and all these beautiful flowers and shrubs in the shapes of the characters!.  BEAUTIFUL!!

Superbowl XLVI

This week it was amazing to see and hear about all of the Superbowl activities in our wonderful city of Indianapolis! How exciting!!
We went into Superbowl village and had to check it out. There were tons of people and lots to do. We stayed for a free LMFAO concert and had a blast. :)

Way to go GIANTS!! =]

Columbus North HS Party Rock Anthem

The High School the girls go to here in Columbus was invited by the Super Bowl Committee to put together this video to play at the Super Bowl Basketball invitational. It was played during halftime at the basketball game and also before the LMFAO concert that was playing in Super Bowl Village!! We were so proud of our Bulldogs who beat Bloomington in an incredible game!!

Mr. Burton -the band director-  won the halftime free throw competition!!

The Pep Band performed all game!  It was incredible! =]

Holiday Disney Trip...

We have always wanted to go to Disney when they are all decked out for Christmas! This year we made it a reality and went in November! The parks were so beautifully decorated! =]

We were joined by our friends the Umphrey's for 6 days of fun!  We got to see all the parks, an amazing christmas light display at the Hollywood Studios park, a life sized Gingerbread House in the lobby of The Grand Floridian Hotel and we even got to see Disney make it SNOW in the parks! =] What a blessing!  As a part of our Holiday Mickey's Merry Christmas Party, we were treated to hot chocolate and warm baked cookies throughout the park! TOO FUN!!

Here's a little video of some of the light display....

Mickey and Minnie dressed for the occasion....

This tree was huge!!  It also had multiple color layers and a hidden mickey inside. The kids enjoyed finding all the hidden mickeys placed all over in the light displays!

This whole set of lights was originally owned by a family named the Osbournes. Disney bought it all from them when their neighboorhood alliance forbid them to put it up. What a blessing... now even more people can enjoy it!  It's amazing!

So many lights!!  Look at my babies!  I love them!

This pic is a little blurry, but you get the idea!
We will definately have to make this trip again!  =]

The castle looked like it was covered in ice!! =]

In front of this gigantic tree. It literally was about 6 floors high in this hotel lobby. crayzeeeeee

Can you believe the size of this thing???  We actually got to purchase shingles like the ones on the roof to eat! They were DELICIOUS!!!  A big hunk of gingerbread with chocolate on the back.... my my... I wish we had bought more! =]

=] All the yummy treats and our sweeties!
