TOUR OF COLUMBUS FIELD TRIP

Thane's third grade class did a walking tour of Columbus. It was pretty interesting to learn a little bit more about the city I live in historically. There was so much I didn't know. And for those of you who know me, that was a hard sentence to type! lol Because, I know everything. lol

We started out at City Hall and had a tour of the Mayor's office. It was neat to hear him answer all of the kids questions. He had so many really cool things in his office. This Columbus City flag actually flew in Baghdad. WOW

We the did a tour of the Kids Commons & Museum. We had an hour of fun there. First we did experiments in archetecture. And a girl stood on a bed of eggs! Only one cracked. It was cool. Thane loved it!

We then went to First Christian church for lunch and then onto the Visitor Center for the City tour. OMG! if you have not done this- you should. It was incredible information! We visited lots of local buildings and banks and The Cummins Corporate Building where we learned about Cummins. We went to the Library and Irwin Gardens and ended the tour at the Courthouse.

At the courhouse we attended a mock court session where we had to decide based on the law who got posession of a Wii game that was jointly purchased by 2 students who were not following their sharing agreement. It was good for the kids to see and hillarious to watch. Check out my man sitting in the Judge's seat! LOl Looks like his 'name plate' name will come in handy after all. =]

COA FINALS IN LOUISVILLE

We went to the COA finals with Caiti's Power Elite Cheer Team! It was really fun... The girls had a blast and we palced 3rd. Here is Caiti & Susannah posing with the trophies! =]

SETH'S BASKETBALL GAMES

Seth has had so much fun learning about basketball and playing on a team. This is the first time we have played the PAAL League. All of his games were held a First Christian Church. I was a little shocked at the competitiveness, but Seth had so much fun.

MIA'S TRIP TO KID'S COMMONS

Mia had a small field trip to the Kid's Commons this week. We had so much fun.

This is a Hissing Cockroach! EWWW! She didn't even flinch at petting it! I was not as friendly. lol

The Japanese House was a big hit for mia. she loved the shoes and the kimonos. lol Isn't she cute?

Bubbles are always a blast! We had some huge bubbles with this wand! Mia giggled alot in this room!

The big Potty is always a hit! The kids can 'flush' themselves down the potty to a maze of fun things underneath. She was nervous at first and then I couldn't keep her out of it! lol!

We were at a baseball game this afternoon and Mia was entertaining herself on the bleachers. It was so funny because she started singing. I couldn't resist so I caught it on tape. The only problem is that I had the camera tilted. So.... sorry, you will have to tilt your head to enjoy it! ;) She is singing the wheels on the bus go round and round...lol.

EASTER DAY!!!

We love Easter!! We start out at church and then head to Grandma Nancy's for lunch and an egg hunt! It is so yummy and alot of fun! We always get the best marshmallow cake. YAY!! We then end up at my moms for dinner and another hunt! It is a packed day and yhe kids enjoy every minute of it! the baskets were from our house!

Phoebe- Dutchess of WilsonFam....

Well, I cant remember if I mentioned to you or not that we got a new puppy. She is the sweetest ever!!! Here she is with Madee on the couch! Like most pups she is sleeping all the time and chewing everything! lol

Of course we are dressing her in pretty sweaters and making her all sassy! I mean why not right?! She loves the kids and we think she is a perfect additon to the Fam. It is so funny because as a Pedigree she gets a formal name on her papers. So we had fun with it. She is officially 'Phoebe- Dutchess of WilsonFam'. Sounds royal, eh? But of course right? hahahaha

I love days like these...

We had an amazing day today. There was 9 inches of snow on the ground outside and all of our commitments for the day were cancelled. So, we had a stay at home chill day. I can't tell you how long it has been since we've been able to do that. It seems like someone always has a game or appointment. It was a breath of fresh air for sure. So we stayed in our jammies all day!! I made an incredible brunch of french toast, bacon and fresh fruit. We watched movies and took a family nap! Can anyone say- YAY!?




We watched Mr. Magoriums Wonder Imporium. It was pretty cute.

Mia wore her crown and jewels around all day and when she wasn't doing that she was being 'Super Mia'. Check her out in all her gear! lol.

Way to go Madee!!!

Congrats to Madee for her awesome year of basketball. She played for Fodrea this year. Our home school had too many people rying out so the overflow was available to other schools. We were called by Fodrea. She had a really great time and we enjoyed watching her!! She really grew into her own by the end of the season and became quite the defensive player! I am so proud of her!
