My son Thane is the sweetest thing! =] He is always making things with Legos. He LOVES them! Well, we had an evening at home tonight and he informed me that he had a surprise for me. He made this little lego wall hanging for my office. It is a lipstick at the bottom that has written the letters MK. hahaha. He is always making Mary Kay stuff for me. It is so sweet and so creative. =] Just wanted to share with you!

And of course while we had a nice afternoon outside, we went to pick up Caiti, who had been in school. Poor thing...she didn't get to hang outside with us.... =[ lol
This is Seth's football team. He had so much fun playing football this year. It has been great to see him go from not knowing at all what to do, to knowing plays! =]
We got a certificate and a trophy for his participation. He had to turn in his uniform before getting the trophy, but we have it. =] The team finished with a pretty good record of winning 4 of 6 games.

This was Caitlin's first Homecoming. I can't even believe that she is in Highschool!! I have no idea when I will come to terms with this fact. I guess it will sink in eventually, but 2 months into the high school experience I'm still not there yet.... Both her and Preston had to perform in the band halftime show and then change for the dance.
We lost miserably to Pike. It was a loss of 39-14. It was tough to watch....
I got to sign the big bad alumni board...what a hoot!
A tradition at North is that the girls are driven in by the Corvette Club. Each girl is in hr own Corvette.
Mia got to go to the dentist today for her first cleaning. She looked so small climbing into the chair. =] She did a really great job sitting still and cooperating with the hygienist. She was so excited to get her new toothbrush at the end! I am so glad it was a good experience for her!
Our Band put on a Band invitational/competition to raise money for our programs. It was a great day and we had an incredible turn out! There were 21 bands who came to compete! yay! Our Band did a performance preview at the end too. Gavin and I worked as a band guide. We worked with Bedford North Lawrence. They were a great band and they were very nice!

This was the sign that said WELCOME CLASS and had all the kids names on apples near the door. Mia went right to her name and said, 'look mommy it says MEEEEE-AHHH!'

After school she posed near the school sign with her new backpack. She wants to wear it around all the time. She thinks she is such a big kid with it on! lol
We made an after school stop at Dairy Queen for lunch and she was so tuckered out from her morning that she fell asleep at the table! lol ;) Isn't that sweet?
Madeline is trying her hand at volleyball. She really likes it and appears to be pretty good at it. Our friend Buffy is a player and former coach and will be helping Madeline with her serve. It is the only area Madee feels a little lacking in. It was so much fun to watch the game tonight. We won the first 2 games so we did not have to play the third, since it is best 2 out of 3. =] Go team!
