Indianapolis Zoo too!

Look at my hot babies! It was 85 degrees!

We visited the Zoo this week while the kids were on Spring Break. It was the first weekend for the Butterflies to be out in the pavillion. There were not as many as I was hoping but we could see lots of them 'hatching' out of their caccoons. So, we will have to make a trip back real soon! I want one to land on me! Don't you?



We made our usual rounds, and in the Desert Pavillion we saw a lizard who was peeking over the wall and looking at Caitlin! It was hillarious. Check it out! hahahaha!



Thane was thrilled to find that our Zoo also has the infamous coin smashers! He got started 'collecting' these smashed pennies while we were at Disney last summer. I can't tell you how much these smashed pennies end up costing us as we pay 50 cents each to mash them! He loves it though!

Seth rode the rollercoaster with me after some much needed coaxing and well let's say all but pushing him into the car! Once we were on and the ride started we had a blast! We laughed the whole ride! Caiti and Madee were in the car in front of us! Look ma no hands!


Mia was especially loving the Giraffes and the Dolphin show. She kept pointing to the giraffes and giggling. And clapped and oooooohhhhed the whole time we were seeing the dolphins perform! She is such a ham! I am so glad she enjoyed the day.



Thane was hoping to see the penguins, but the 'Waters' pavillion is being remodeled. So, we will hope to see them on our next visit. In the meantime, we had a picture taken of him with a few penguin friends! ;) lol.
