Chillin by the pool(s).....

We had a cookout with our friends the Umphrey's. It was so hot outside!! We decided to let the kids cool off in the pool and they had a blast! Check out the boyus on the slides and the girls in the wading pool! :)

Day 6 Disney...More Magic Kingdom!! :)

We were ready to roll this morning. We started out on the opposite side of the park. We saw Aladdin & Genie, we rode a jungle boat tour, we visited the Tiki room and the Haunted Mansion! Woohoo. We saw the afternoon parade and the Cinderellabration showcase! All before dinner! We ate with Pooh and Friends in the Crystal Palace Restaurant. I just love to see the kids having so much fun. It was good food too! :)

We made the most out of every minute today since it will be our last in the parks. We pack up to go home in the morning. :( We rode the Big Thunder Mountian Railroad Coaster and had to get on Space Moutnian again! We saw the fireworks show out front of the castle tonight and it was the best I've ever seen. I can't believe they put it on every night! WOW! We got into the hotel at about 12:30! What an fun filled day!

Day 5 Disney...Magic Kingdom!!

Finally the park we have been waiting on!! I have been dreaming of this moment since I was a little girl! The castle was breathtaking. We immediately headed to the Buzz Lightyear ride and got our fastpasses. We got on Stitch's Escape while we were waiting. Thane was not impressed! Hahaha. It felt like Stitch was walking around us, and burping on us in the dark. It was funny. We rode space mountian and checked out all of toontown! We also ran into Warrick the guy who played Wicket the Ewok in Star Wars. He was also Willow. We asked him for his autograph and he was so nice. We took his picture with the boys. How cool is that?

The best part of today was having dinner with Cinderella inside the castle! It was so magical. Our reservation was for 9:20. We went in, got registered and got our picture taken with Cinderella. The kids loved it. Heck, I'm 33 and I was so excited to see her!! She signed our autograph books and talked to all of the children. We were then taken up a spiral staircase to the formal dining area. (formal in name not attire) We were served an incredible meal and were visited by the Fairy Godmother and her mice. Then we got to watch the firework show from inside the top of the castle. Talk about Cool! We could feel them!

Day 4 Disney...Epcot!

It was sprinkling when we entered Epcot this morning. We were determined to have an awesome time anyway! We got to have lunch with Mickey, Pluto, Chip & Dale in the rotating restaurant! It was so much fun. We rode Mission Space, Spaceship Earth, and Gavin rode test Track. We walked all the Way around the world and got to see an incredible laser and firework show to close out the night! We also checked out the aquarium with Nemo and Friends. We taked to Crush in the turtle talk show. So funny! It was a great day despite the weather!

Day 3 Disney...Animal Kingdom!!

We got to go to Animal Kingdom today! WOOOHOOO! We are so excited! The weather was very humid and the air was thick. We were ready to go though! I just had to get in the spirit with these cool Mickey ears! The park was so beautiful. We rode the new Expedition Everest rollercoaster and the Kahli River Rapids ride! We were soaked after that! Seth and Grant rode 3 times! We also took the safari! It was great to see all the animals! The kids eyes were so big!

Disney day 2....more MGM :)

We woke up this morning and got our bags ready to go to the Villa at the Old Key West Resort. We then grabbed breakfast and headed back to MGM for the day. We all got tattoo's took some last photo's of the Movies hotel and headed for the bus! Here are the kids in front of the huge Buzz Lightyear at the Movies Hotel...wow! We met several of our favorite Disney Characters today and got their autographs! It was fun fo the kids and neat to watch! We also got to ride some of the rides! We rode the Aerosmith Rockin' Roller Coaster and the Hollywood Tower of Terror! What a blast! You'll have to see the girl's faces on those rides! We bought the ride photos! haha! We also rode the Star Wars Star Tours ride. We thought Thane would love it, but he was pretty scared. It was a simulated space flight and the seats moved to help make it a believeable ride. He was crying by the time we got off the ride.!! We then entered the Star Wars gift shop! Dun, Dun, Dunnnnn........ Let's just say you don't want to know what that cost! Anyway, here is a pcture of Mia and Ally having a mini light saber fight! hahaha! How cute is that?

DISNEY or BUST!!

We are off for a week of fun filled Disney. This is our first trip! Gavin and I are just as excited as the kids. We are going with our good friends, the Umphrey family. We will be staying at The Old Key West resort on site after one night at Disney's All Star Movies Hotel. We can't wait to take it all in!

After our arrival, we went straight to the Disney MGM Studio's Park. It is a Star War's weekend and we got to see lots of people dressed in costumes! We had a great meal and attended the Fantasmic Laser light Show! It was incredible! Wewent to lots of different shows and were completely worn out by the time we got back to the hotel! :) We will go back to MGM tomorrow as well!

Wow what a sight!

We have had a lot of rain here lately. But it was great to see this double rainbow today! It was just outside our house! (or at least it seemed like it!) It was amazing!!

Seth is a Ball Player too!

I can't tell you how fun (and hectic) it has been to have summer coming around the corner! Not only is Thane playing ball, so is Seth! He is so excited and can't wait for the next game or practice! He is always asking when his next game is. He loves to put on his uniform. we had their helmets airbrushed. They look great! Seth's helmet has his name in green on the front and green lightning all around it. He picked out the design himself. :) Here he is in action at his first game!

Girls night out!

Mommy got to have a girls night out with her Mary Kay friends! We had a special pampering night in honor of Mary Kay's Birthday. We raised money for the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation while we treated ourselves to massages, snacks and movie time! It was a blast! This is a picture of me with my 2 best girlfriends!
